Single and Multiple Entry Visas
This application kit is only for single entry visas to Kenya. Multiple entry visa applicants must apply for a multi-entry visa. If you require a multiple entry visa, please logon to our website and select the multiple entry option for business or tourism.
Secure Upload Of Application Materials
In order to complete your e-visa application, the following documents must be securely uploaded to https://visacentral.ca/upload-forms?service=eta:
- One fully completed Kenya Single Entry E-Visa Questionnaire
- A color photocopy of the personal information pages of your passport
- A digital color passport photograph
- A copy of a flight itinerary
- Business introduction letter
You must upload each document in a separate file (please do not upload one file contacting all documents). The secure upload link will allow you to upload multiple individual files at once. Passport
You must upload a color photocopy of the data information pages and photo of your national passport to https://visacentral.ca/upload-forms?service=eta . Your passport must:
- Be valid for three months beyond the length of the requested visa. For example, your passport must be valid for 15 months if you requested a 12 month visa
- Have at least one blank visa page. Amendments and endorsement pages cannot be used to fulfill this requirement
- Not be frayed, torn, separating, or altered in any other way
Photographs
You must provide one digital photograph. Upload your photo and we will ensure it has the exact specifications required for this visa. Follow https://visacentral.ca/upload-forms?service=eta to upload your photo.
Kenya Single Entry Questionnaire
You must provide one fully completed Kenya Single Entry E-Visa Questionnaire found in this kit. The application form must:
- Include answers for all fields
- Display your full name as it appears in your passport
- Be uploaded securely to https://visacentral.ca/upload-forms?service=eta
Proof of Travel Arrangements
You must provide proof of travel arrangements for the duration of your trip. Details of your intended arrangements must:
- Include a copy of an itinerary or e-ticket showing entry and exit date
- Show your full name as printed in your passport
- Be uploaded securely to https://visacentral.ca/upload-forms?service=eta
Letter of Invitation
A letter of invitation from the applicants host company in Kenya. A copy is acceptable. This letter must:
- Be on company letterhead paper
- Include the full name of the applicant
- Specify the purpose of journey
- Include the name of the organization(s) to be visited
- Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
- Be dated and signed by the applicants host
Business Cover Letter
You are required to provide a Business Introduction Letter from your Canadian-based company. All letters must be printed on company letterhead that displays an Canadian mailing address. Use the sample Business Introduction Letter provided at https://visacentral.ca/forms?formname=Canada-Business-Cover-Letter-Sample.pdf using the exact language and format provided in order to prevent a rejection and possible delays with your visa request.

Certificate of Company Registration
A copy of the registration document of the company the applicant is visiting must be provided.
Entry Requirements - Upon Arrival in Kenya
Upon arrival in Kenya, you must present the following documents to immigration officials in order to be granted entry:
- An original Kenya e-visa authorization
- A copy of your flight itinerary
- A business introduction letter
- A copy of your invitation letter

Have you completed all the fields on your e-visa questionnaire? Incomplete application requests cannot be processed and will be returned for additional information. This could delay the processing of your request. Please securely upload to https://visacentral.ca/upload-forms?service=eta the questionnaire as well as the following documents:
- A color photocopy of the personal information pages of your passport
- A digital passport photograph
- A copy of your flight itinerary
- Business introduction letter

If you are unable to upload these documents please use the shipping label provided, include all of the documents listed above, (you will still need to securely upload your photograph), and send your complete application to the address listed at the top of application kit checklist
Traveller Registration (Highly Recommended)

Sample of Tourist Travel Requirements for a Kenya Visa for Canadian Citizens
Passport
You must provide your actual signed passport, including one copy of the personal information pages of your passport. Your passport must:
- Be valid for three months beyond the length of the requested visa. For example, your passport must be valid for 15 months if you requested a 12 month visa
- Have at least one blank visa page. Amendments and endorsement pages cannot be used to fulfill this requirement
- Not be frayed, torn, separating, or altered in any other way
Photographs
You must provide two colour, passport type photographs that meet the following criteria:
- Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
- Be taken against an all white background free of shadows
- Be 51 mm by 51 mm in size
- Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
- You may wear neither glasses nor headwear except for religious purposes
- Your photos should not be affixed to your application and they may not display evidence of adhesive or staples
Visa Application Form
You must provide one completed visa application form. The application form must:
- Include answers for all fields. If something does not apply, enter "N/A"
- Display your full name as it appears in your passport
- Be signed
VisaCentral Order Form
You must provide one completed VisaCentral Order Form. The form must:
- Include a valid email address and payment information
- Include your signature in blue or black ink
Proof of Travel Arrangements

Hotel Confirmation
You must also provide confirmation of your hotel accommodations: Your confirmation must:
- Include your intended dates of stay
- Show your full name
Travel Between Kenya and Tanzania and Uganda
Kenya has an agreement with Tanzania and Uganda to waiver visa re-entry fees if travelling between the three countries as long as single-entry visas remain valid for each country. This means multiple-entry visas are not required if going from Kenya to Tanzania or Uganda and back to Kenya. The same applies for travel from Uganda and Tanzania.
